I thought I’d try Substack so, if people want, they can receive all my blog posts for free. A lot of what I write are my thoughts on what I’ve read or heard or thought about. A lot of what I read and write has to do with my Christian faith. It seems kind of conceited to think there might be others who even care, but I meet people who do, who are what Anne of Green Gables would call “kindred spirits.” I’m hoping Substack helps me find more kindred spirits. It would be fun to exchange thoughts with them

I love my blog (www.mavismoon.com), but unfortunately, I have to pay extra to send more than 3 emails per month. Sending as many as I want appears to be what Substack does by default. So, I figure I’ll give it a try, but also continue my blog. At least for now.

I plan to keep my subscriptions free. When you see a button that says, “Pledge your support” or “Subscribe,” there’s always an option for a free subscription. Even though I strongly believe in paying writers for their work, it’s hard to pay for all the subscriptions you want to have. I know that’s true for me! I set up a buymeacoffee page so you can donate once in a while if you’d like. Donations are sincerely appreciated, and responses even more so!
